you read this you will not be in the crib anymore, but in a bed that has been transformed, but if you feel the footboard you will be able to feel the teeth marks you have left there from a long time ago. You decided that just laying around isnt fun anymore and on May 17th (Uncle Allen's birthday) I found you standing up in the crib. You were incredibly proud of yourself and by the 24th you were cruising furniture and chewing on the coffee table and anything else you could put in your mouth. This is the month you learn the word 'no'. You can turn on and off the TV and change the channel on the box. This is great fun for you!
You love to climb things and have never gotten stuck and are able to plop down on your bum again with no problem. You can climb onto your plastic ride on toy, but cant seem to get off without falling. On the first of June you started to crawl for the first time and are very quick to get into things. I woke up with you this morning to find a new tooth had popped its way in. Your top right tooth is looking good and maybe with its arrival you will stop chewing your crib and the coffee table.
You are finding a lot of your toys to be boring now. Rattles just dont do a thing for you anymore. You still really love your piano and climb up on it and dance to the music you make. We sing "If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands" and you clap your hands. You can also wave bye bye when you are in just the right mood. You love books and other toys that make noise but you love to play in your little plastic pool full of water the most. You splash and laugh and climb out of the pool onto the grass and back into the pool again. You just love to be outside. We take you to the park and you just love to see the other kids and try to get their attention by squealing. You do however, make strange to other men. You cry quite loudly and reach for mommy or daddy when a male that you dont know tries to play with you. You still charm the dickens out of women and children though. With those funny faces and a smile that will melt anyones heart, no one can help to have their day brightened when you bless them. You are also afraid of any loud noises like the vacuum cleaner or paper shredder.
